Educational Movement
We are an Educational Movement that proposes to children and young people the idea of being the main actors of their own development.
We are an Educational Movement, a group of men and women who share an ideal of person, society and church of Catholic Scouting and we assume the commitment of developing and spreading its Pedagogical Project in Spain.
We are a M ovement for children and young people, who also integrates its leaders, families and Christian communities as educational agents who trust on their capacity of being responsible of their development and they shape the educational environment which makes Scouting possible.
Our commitment with all of them is carried out through an educational proposal,
the Youth Programme, which tries to respond to young people’s needs and aspirations at all
times. To carry out our project we have an organizational structure which should be efficient,
flexible, democratic and participative to all the agents involved in the movement.

Scout Movement
We are part of the Scouting Movement, a universal brotherhood which shares an ideal of life, a working method and a mission: contributing to create a better world.
We are part of the Scout Movement, a universal association which wants to contribute to build a better world according to universal values expressed in the Scout Promise and in the Scout Law as written on the Constitution of the World Organization of the Scout Movement and who invite each scout to be a happy and upright person, socially committed and open to the meeting with Transcendence.
Through our activities, articulated according to the Scout Method, we accompany children and young people in their process of personal development, proposing them the active implication in a non-formal educational project which enables them to take the leading role in their own development.
Through the realization of their educational task, scout leaders develop a service to others and
thereby
the Movement contributes to the positive transformation of the world, using their personal
example as a fundamental tool and compromising themselves in a process of trainning and personal
development.

Catholic Church
We are part of the Catholic Church, a good place that invites people to the transforming encounter with God, and where all people who whish to develop their spiritual dimmension are welcome.
We are part of the Catholic Church, and we feel responsible of its mission, which we develop through our educational project. Our movement is a good place where Christians feel being invited to reinforce their faith through their encounter with Jesus Christ, their commitment with the Church and their option to integrate the Gospel’s values in their own lives.
We are the Scouting the Church proposes as an initiative of its ministers and therefore we feel called to be the common house to all the Catholic Scouting in Spain.
Through Catholic Scouting, the Christian Community opens up and welcomes all the persons who are willing to discover and to deepen in their spiritual experience, regardless of their religious tradition or even if they are not identified with any one.
That is why we commit ourselves to encourage the experience of plurality and communion within
the Church and to contribute to
Ecumenism and Interreligious Dialogue.

Committed Movement
We are a Movement committed with our natural, social and cultural environment.
We are a Movement committed with the society, with every single person who lives in Spain, specially with all the children and young people, no matter what their circumstances might be.
We also commit with their families, who trust us a very important part of their children’s education. We are a non-partisan movement where people who share Scouting values and a compromise with democracy are found, even though we have different political and social points of view.
We want to contribute to the building of a better world encouraging children and young people to assume a critical, responsible and participative citizenship, which should be actively committed with the transformation of its different social environments, open to cooperate with all the people of the world. We believe in working together with those organisations which we could share our service with.
We are aware of the fact that
we are part of a natural environment and we commit ourselves to its preservations and
responsible use, promoting its sustainability. We consider that our different cultural
identities, both our own and those contributed by the people coming from other countries,
constitute a richness that deserves to be known, preserved and valued in our educational project,
which promotes an intercultural social model.
